Abu Dhabi, UAE — January 13–15, 2026
PYROCY has completed its booth presence at Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026, held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The three-day event brought together heads of state, sovereign wealth funds, institutional investors, energy majors, and clean technology developers from across the globe — making it one of the highest-profile platforms available to a company at the intersection of waste recovery and circular fuel production.
PYROCY's presence at ADSW 2026 marked the platform's formal introduction to the international institutional investment community. The booth showcased the platform's operating model, live performance data from the Fusão Enigmática facility in Portugal, and the international project pipeline — which at the time of the event included confirmed MOUs across Kazakhstan, Spain, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, and Colombia, alongside the second Portugal plant already under contract.
The central message of PYROCY's ADSW presence was straightforward: this is not a concept seeking investment. It is an operating platform with documented performance, a replicable model, and an active pipeline across six countries — seeking co-investment partners for specific projects, not validation of the technology.
Engagement at the event spanned waste management groups, regional development funds, industrial conglomerates, and private equity — reflecting the breadth of the investor and partner profile that PYROCY's model attracts. Conversations initiated at ADSW 2026 are expected to contribute to further project development announcements in the months ahead.
ADSW 2026 was hosted under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and organised by Masdar.
José Marques, CEO of PYROCY, stated: "ADSW confirmed what we already knew — the appetite for an operational, proven advanced recovery platform is real and it is significant. We did not come to Abu Dhabi to explain pyrolysis. We came to show what it looks like when it works at industrial scale, and to find the right partners to replicate it."
