Birmingham, UK — September 2026
PYROCY will exhibit at the Environmental Services & Solutions Expo (ESS Expo) at the NEC Birmingham on 16 and 17 September 2026 — the UK's largest gathering of the waste, recycling, energy and environmental services sectors, bringing together more than 700 exhibitors across seven co-located shows.
We will be at stand EN-H140 in the Energy, Fuels & Decarbonisation zone, and we go with a clear message for the UK market: industrial plastic and tyre pyrolysis is not a future technology. It is operating today.
An operating industrial asset, not a concept. PYROCY's reference plant in northern Portugal has been in continuous industrial operation since January 2025. It processes residual plastics that mechanical recycling cannot absorb, produces circular pyrolysis oil to commercial specification, holds ISCC PLUS certification, and sells its full output under a secured offtake agreement with an international buyer. The plants are designed, manufactured and commissioned by Incbio, our exclusive technology and engineering partner, on the back of twenty years and more than 100 industrial fuel plants delivered worldwide.
Why the UK, why now. The UK combines tightening landfill economics, growing demand for recycled and low-carbon feedstocks, and one of the world's most favourable regulatory frameworks for recycled carbon fuels under the SAF Mandate. For owners of residual plastic and tyre streams, that turns a disposal cost into a revenue-generating industrial asset — on their site, with their feedstock, as a jointly owned project.
Who we want to meet. PYROCY grows through joint ventures with partners who control what makes a project bankable: feedstock, a site, and co-investment capacity. At ESS we are looking to meet waste management operators, tyre collectors and recyclers, plastics recyclers with residual fractions, RDF and SRF producers, industrial groups and investors interested in co-developing pyrolysis projects in the UK and internationally.
Our modular 30-tonnes-per-day units are factory-built, installed on site in weeks, and scale by replication — 30, 60, 120 tonnes per day — as performance is demonstrated.
Come and see the real thing. Visit us at EN-H140 to see the operating plant, the modular units and product samples, and to discuss what a project on your feedstock would look like. Meetings can be booked through the ESS Expo networking platform, or directly with José Marques (josemarques@pyrocy.com) and Sérgio Loureiro (sergioloureiro@pyrocy.com). And for serious partners, our standing invitation applies: come and visit the plant in Portugal, two hours from the UK, and see continuous industrial pyrolysis running.
Visitor registration for ESS Expo is free: register here and come and find us at EN-H140.
